Rob is a former Officer in the NY Army National Guard, where he graduated Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning and was certified through both the Battlefield First Responder and Army Combatives Trainer courses, and also earned an AAM as Distinguished Honor Graduate.  Throughout his time in the Guard he also worked as a mechanical engineer in a variety of industries, including as a Senior R&D Engineer at Staccato 2011, with several patents applied for with the engineering team on the HD line of pistols.

Rob competes in NRL22 and USPSA, and has attended a wide array of specialized courses with Staccato, Buck Doyle, Ghost, and others – including long range precision, carbine, pistol, tacmed, and CQB. Rob is a multiple Top Shot Award winner in carbine and CQB courses with Ghost, who he now instructs with. In addition to his marksmanship background, he is a private pilot, an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor and instructor, a spec road racer with the RSR National series, and a part-time pro photographer. Rob’s passion lies in constant learning, and sharing his broad experience with others – both on and off the range.
